Job Summary
DIVERSE LEARNING/SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER position in Kentucky responsible for designing and delivering instruction to students with diverse needs, including learning and behavior disorders, with responsibilities to create and implement IEPs, adapt curriculum, monitor progress, assess student growth, maintain records, communicate with families, and collaborate with staff to support student outcomes. Implement district goals, develop lesson plans and instructional materials, provide individualized or small-group instruction, assess educational needs, maintain data for progress reporting, and participate in professional development and school activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky Certificate for Teaching Exceptional Children: Learning and Behavior Disorders(LBD), Hearing Impaired(HI), and/or Visually Impaired(VI).
