Diver

Perform underwater exhibit maintenance, clean back-of-house areas, and fill scuba cylinders following established safety standards and operational procedures. Tend dives and provide surface support to ensure diver safety and effective communication during underwater operations. Demonstrate knowledge of dive safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper use of dive-related equipment. This part-time position supports the Texas State Aquarium's premiere Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea exhibits through education, conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation.
