Job Summary
Diver/Dive Tender will perform tending, diving, and standby-diver duties across projects involving dredging, burning, welding, drilling, and concrete work. Responsibilities include underwater and topside tasks, assisting other craft workers, routine inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment, reporting defects to supervisors, following OSHA safety procedures, maintaining a clean and secure jobsite, and coordinating with project leads. Requirements include dive certificate, O2 administrator, CPR/First Aid/AED, 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent, ability to read site plans, good communication skills, willingness to travel, and ability to work long hours including evenings/weekends. This is a union-scale, construction-environment role with benefits (401k, EAP) and variable hourly rates per bargaining agreements. Required Qualifications
- Dive Certificate from accredited diving school
- O2 Administrator, CPR, and First Aid/AED certifications
- Junior college or trade/vocational training
