Job Summary
Diver/Dive Tender responsible for tending, diving, and standby diving tasks across marine construction projects (e.g., dredging, burning, welding, drilling, and concrete work). Role requires performing underwater and topside tasks per project requirements, assisting other craft workers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, adhering to OSHA safety procedures, and communicating effectively with project leadership. Requires dive-related certifications, readiness to travel, and ability to work long hours in a physically demanding construction environment. This is a union-scale, in-person role based in Rogers, MN, with benefits typical of union craft workers.
Required Qualifications
- Junior college or trade/vocational training
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Dive Certificate from accredited diving school
- O2 Administrator, CPR, and First Aid/AED certifications
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to complete on-the-job training
- Ability to read and understand site plans
- Ability to problem solve and assist in solutions to unexpected issues
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Willingness to travel
- Pre-employment drug test
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work long hours including evenings and weekends
