Job Summary
Teach safe scuba while following all SSI, industry, and Diventures standards, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately before class. Create a positive, engaging learning environment by building strong relationships with customers and using the sales floor as a teaching tool to make product recommendations. Arrive early to prepare classrooms and equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe pool, classroom, rental, and training environment. Partner with teammates across scuba, retail, swim, service, and travel to create a seamless customer experience while staying current with certifications and industry standards. Help students understand the value of continuing education and own their total dive system through the four pillars of the SSI Diver Diamond.
Required Qualifications
- Dive Professional certification
- Ability to remain current with all certifications and dues required to instruct courses
