Dive Maintenance Tech III / Excursion and Electronically Controlled UBA Tech

Job Summary

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventative and corrective maintenance for open circuit and closed circuit diving equipment, including E-UBA, SCUBA tanks, regulators, and diagnostic tools. Develop comprehensive curricula for end-user training on the E-UBA, deliver certification programs to NSW personnel, and manage training records while traveling to remote sites. Process requests, maintain records, and manage the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets and operational consumables assigned to the Dive Division. Perform monthly, bi-annual, and annual inventories of gear managed in ELMS/DPAS, investigate missing or damaged property, and assist with document processing and equipment procurement through the NIPR/SIPR network. Maintain inventory access within the Accountability Property System Record and obtain necessary factory-trained certifications for diving equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • SECRET clearance
  • Navy Dive School Certified (NEC 5342 / M1DV, USCG OPSDC, or higher)
  • Minimum five years' experience as a certified 5342 / M1DV, USCG OPSDC, or higher diver
  • MK-16 Maintenance Technician
  • MK-25 Maintenance Technician
  • Qualification as a Maintenance & Material Management (3M) Maintenance Person, 3M Quality Assurance Craftsman, and 3M Work Center Supervisor
  • Qualified in accordance with NAVEDTRA 43910-(Series)
  • Possess factory trained certification for diving equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, and Oxygen Clean System Worker
  • Minimum of Three (3) years NSW experience
  • Must be available to travel to conduct training and maintenance at remote sites within NSW
  • Maintain forklift license up to 6,000lb capacity
  • Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties
