Districtwide Resource LPN and OOD G-Tube Services Nurse

Job Summary
Perform a daily midday G-tube feeding and prescribed care for an assigned out-of-district placement student, traveling to the site each day with mileage reimbursement provided. Provide districtwide nursing support and coverage as assigned, collaborating with RN School Nurses and administrators to maintain a healthy school environment. Administer medications and treatments as ordered, maintain accurate electronic SNAP documentation, and serve as a health resource for students, families, and staff. Utilize community resources to assist with unmet health needs and ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR/AED certification
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to complete student-specific G-tube feeding training and competency validation provided by the district
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in pediatrics, community health, school nursing, or another relevant clinical setting
