Job Summary
MTSS Specialist in Fayette County Public Schools supports the district and school-level MTSS implementation by training administrators, teachers, and school-based leadership teams; providing consultation and modeling data-informed practices; monitoring fidelity of MTSS implementation; coordinating staff development activities; and maintaining effective communication with parents and staff. The role requires a Master’s degree in education or a related field, 5 years of teaching experience, advanced MTSS training, and Kentucky teaching certification (with eligibility for KY certification). Strong collaboration, data interpretation, and language-communication skills are emphasized, along with ongoing professional development to sustain MTSS in district settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree in Education, School Psychology, or related field
- 5 years teaching experience
- Advanced training in MTSS or equivalent experience
- Experience implementing MTSS
- Kentucky Teaching Certification (required- must hold or be eligible for KY certification)
- Kentucky Principal or Supervisor of Instruction Certification (preferred)
