District Wide Substitute

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements while accommodating individual student differences. Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and materials that reflect an understanding of diverse learning styles and needs. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing to guide instruction. Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and create a classroom environment conducive to learning. Direct the work of assigned instructional aides and volunteers, ensuring completion of assigned tasks. Compile, maintain, and file all required reports, records, and documents. Establish professional relationships with parents, students, colleagues, and community members. Comply with state, district, and school regulations, including safety protocols and emergency procedures. Maintain emotional control under stress and work prolonged or irregular hours as needed.
