Job Summary

District Support Pharmacist provides coverage across CVS Health retail pharmacies within the district, serving as a role model and coaching the pharmacy team. Responsibilities include filling pharmacist shifts as scheduled, overseeing pharmacy operations and workflow, acting as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, delivering immunizations (e.g., COVID/Flu) where permissible, coaching Pharmacy Technicians, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain protection, maintaining up-to-date clinical and technical skills, and traveling within the district to support market staffing needs. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team, and adherence to federal/state regulations and CVS Health policies. Required qualifications include an active pharmacist license in the store’s state, an active NPI, and not being on the DEA Excluded Parties list. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service; strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to CVS Health values and diversity. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours around 29 and a pay range of $60.00-$76.00 per hour.
