Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist (Part Time) provides coverage across pharmacies within the district, supports pharmacist scheduling gaps, oversees pharmacy team operations, and ensures safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations. Travel across the district to fill shifts, serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, mentor technicians, manage inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and support patient care through collaborations with the patient’s healthcare team. Also contributes to clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible, while maintaining compliance with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies. Requires active pharmacist license in the store’s state, and an active NPI; travel and weekend availability may be needed.
