Job Summary
Pharmacist with active license needed to serve as District Support Pharmacist (Part Time) across CVS Health retail pharmacies. Responsibilities include covering pharmacist scheduling gaps, overseeing pharmacy workflow, supporting patient safety and care, immunizations, dispensing and counseling, and acting as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager when needed. Travel within the district to fill shifts, coach pharmacy staff, resolve insurance/medication issues, maintain cold chain integrity, and support clinical services such as testing and prescribing where permissible. Requires strong attention to safety, adherence to federal/state laws, ability to collaborate with healthcare teams, and ongoing professional development (CMEs). Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service and a commitment to CVS Health values.
