District Support Pharmacist Part Time

District Support Pharmacist (Part Time) provides coverage for pharmacist scheduling gaps across CVS Health pharmacy locations within the district, acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling patients, immunizing and delivering clinical care where permissible, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and coaching the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care while complying with applicable laws and CVS policies. The role requires traveling within the district to fill shifts, support pharmacy operations, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic. Key duties include supervising workflow, maintaining patient safety, resolving insurance and medication issues, immunizing patients, supporting access to care, and maintaining clinical and technical skills through trainings and CME activities. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
