Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist (Part Time) with pharmacy leadership responsibilities across CVS Health’s district stores. Responsible for covering pharmacist scheduling gaps, supporting pharmacy teams, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations, inventory management with emphasis on cold chain, and acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts. Travel within the district to support market staffing, collaborate with the healthcare team, resolve insurance and medication issues, and deliver patient care services (including testing/prescribing where permissible). Requires active pharmacist license, NPI, and compliance with CVS policies; strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills essential. This role emphasizes compassionate care, team coaching, and maintaining regulatory standards while supporting patient safety and access to care in a retail pharmacy setting.
