Job Summary
Part-time District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across CVS Health districts, travel within the market to support pharmacy teams, oversee pharmacy workflow, provide immunizations, ensure patient safety, coach the pharmacy team, and perform pharmacist-on-duty duties as needed. Responsibilities include safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, assisting with insurance/medication issues, expanding clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible, maintaining inventory with focus on cold-chain products, and participating in trainings and CMEs. Requires active pharmacist license, ability to travel within the district, and strong patient-care and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
