District Support Pharmacist Part Time

District Support Pharmacist (DSP) duties include covering pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, overseeing pharmacy operations and staff in stores, and traveling within the district to fill shifts. Responsibilities also include ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling patients, delivering immunizations, coaching and developing Pharmacy Technicians, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain integrity, and supporting clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible. The DSP may assume Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty, maintain compliance with all federal/state laws and CVS policies, and contribute to a positive, empathetic patient experience across the district. The role requires flexibility for scheduling, travel as needed, and active engagement in a safe and inclusive team environment.
