Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist (Part Time) at CVS Health. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, oversee pharmacy operations, and support patient care through counseling and immunizations. Responsibilities include safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, coaching pharmacy technicians, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts. You will travel within the district to fill shifts, contribute to patient experiences through compassionate care, and participate in clinical services (e.g., testing and prescribing where permissible) while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and CVS Health policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Licensure in multiple states
- Strong immunization certifications (if applicable)
- Experience in pharmacy inventory management
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to travel within the district as needed
