Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsibilities include traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts, supporting pharmacy managers and district leaders, overseeing pharmacy operations and safe dispensing, providing immunizations (e.g., COVID/Flu, hormonal contraception where permissible), coaching technicians and staff, ensuring compliance with workflow procedures and safety guardrails, managing pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain, contributing to patient experiences with empathetic care, assisting with insurance and medication issue resolution, and performing pharmacy duties as needed including testing and prescribing services where allowed, all while maintaining regulatory compliance and a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
