Job Summary
District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts, support pharmacy teams, and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts. Responsibilities include overseeing safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling, immunizations, inventory management with emphasis on cold chain protection, and supporting patient experiences through compassionate care. DSPs maintain compliance with laws and CVS policies, provide clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible, and demonstrate leadership to ensure safe, inclusive, and effective operations across multiple stores in the district. The role requires regular travel within a reasonable radius, ability to cover shifts, and ongoing professional development through required trainings and CMEs. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.

- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
