Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist (DSP) plena role across CVS Health district stores: cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient care, travel within the district to support market staffing, coach the pharmacy team, manage inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and comply with federal/state laws and CVS policies while delivering clinical care (e.g., COVID/Flu testing and prescribing where permissible). Strong emphasis on empathy, collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team, and maintaining high safety, quality, and operational standards across multiple store locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
