Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsibilities include covering pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, overseeing the pharmacy and pharmacy team, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, providing counseling and immunizations, supporting patient access to care, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts while staying compliant with federal/state laws and CVS policies. The role involves traveling within the district to fill shifts, coaching technicians to immunize and deliver clinical care, and maintaining clinical/technical skills through required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
