District Support Pharmacist Full Time

District Support Pharmacists cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. Responsibilities include safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, guiding pharmacy technicians, coordinating bench shifts, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain integrity, and providing clinical care (including testing and prescribing services where permissible) while maintaining compliance with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies. The role requires travel within the district, acting as a proxy to the Pharmacy Manager during shifts, coaching staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations across multiple stores.
