Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsibilities include covering pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, acting as a proxy to the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, supervising and coaching pharmacy staff, and delivering clinician-level care such as immunizations and testing/prescribing where permitted. The role emphasizes safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, adherence to pharmacy workflow and safety guardrails, proactive patient care and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team, inventory management with a focus on protecting cold chain products, and flexibility to support scheduling and business needs. Requires travel within the district, a current active pharmacist license, and an active NPI. Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in pharmacy/retail/customer service settings; strong customer service, empathy, and teamwork are valued. This is a full-time position eligible for CVS Health benefits and a bonus/short-term incentive program.
