Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsible for covering pharmacist scheduling gaps and supporting pharmacy teams across CVS Health district stores. Plays a role model for the pharmacy team, ensures safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizations, oversees pharmacy workflow, and acts as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts. Travels within the district to fill shifts, supports inventory management (with emphasis on cold chain), resolves insurance or medication issues, and contributes to a safe, inclusive team environment while maintaining clinical and technical skills and complying with applicable laws and CVS policies. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience in a pharmacy/retail/customer service setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
