Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsible for scheduler coverage across CVS Health retail pharmacies within the district, supporting pharmacy teams, ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations, overseeing pharmacy workflow and inventory including cold chain, acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, and contributing to patient care through testing and prescribing where permissible. Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts, coaching the team to deliver compassionate patient care, collaborating with the patient’s healthcare team, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
