Job Summary
District Support Pharmacist responsible for coverage of pharmacist scheduling gaps across multiple stores within the district, acting as a Pharmacy Manager proxy when needed, ensuring safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations, and leading pharmacy teams to deliver compassionate care. Travel within the district to fill shifts, support inventory management with emphasis on cold chain products, and collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team to resolve insurance or medication issues. Requires active pharmacist license, NPIs, ability to travel, strong customer service and teamwork, and adherence to federal/state laws and CVS Health policies. duties include supervising workflow, coaching staff, ensuring compliance, and delivering clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible.
Required Qualifications

- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
