Job Summary
Manage, direct, coach, and train a group of General Managers while recruiting, interviewing, hiring, promoting, disciplining, and terminating them per company policy. Monitor each store's operational and financial performance to take corrective action, performing regular inspections, documenting findings, and following up on issues. Ensure all activities meet established food safety standards from Wendy's Corporate, local health departments, and other standards, immediately addressing issues with leadership and reporting significant hazards to senior management. Set the standard by communicating priorities and helping General Managers translate them into specific action plans, holding managers accountable through regular store visits and direct observations. Spend 80% to 90% of the week inside stores. Requires strong communication, math, computer skills, and managerial experience; must be 21 or older with a driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents
- Excellent written, verbal and group communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, divide and use fractions, percentages, ratios, and convert units of measurement
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to make good decisions and adapt to changing situations
- Good computer skills including being proficient in Word and Excel
- Managerial, supervisory, leadership, and customer service experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Driver's License
- a good driving record
- have access/ability to drive a motor vehicle
- Must be 21 years or older
