District Specialized Services Coordinator [SY26-27]

Job Summary
Coordinate and lead 504 meetings and develop 504 plans for students who qualify; serve as the district’s point of contact for DCF custody cases; coordinate partnerships with child welfare organizations; manage transportation for homeless students; facilitate communication among school, families, and community stakeholders to support 504 plans; provide professional learning to staff on 504 plan development, eligibility, timelines, and related requirements; ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines; collaborate with DCF on Best Interest Determinations and McKinney-Vento services; work with building administrator teams to implement tiered supports for homelessness and child welfare issues; assist with grant writing and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license in the area of Moderate/Severe Disabilities, School Adjustment Counselor, or Guidance Counselor
- Demonstrated experience managing 504 Accommodation Plan development
- Documented experience collaborating with Child Welfare Agencies
- Previous experience with youth Homelessness services
- Demonstrated organizational skills
