Job Summary
District Shift Leader at Einstein Bros. Bagels leads store operations with a focus on developing future General Managers. Responsibilities include managing at a home location and supporting other bakeries in the market, coaching and training teams, ensuring high-quality food and a safe, clean store environment, and participating in the GM development plan to learn P&L analysis, food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting. The role involves flexible leadership duties, travel within the market, inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. Starting pay ranges from $14.57 to $21.86 per hour, with typical hours beginning as early as 3am and a minimum of 30 hours per week; benefits include medical, vision, dental, PTO, 401K with company match, and additional programs such as EAP and life coaching.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred
- Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends
- Must pass background check
- Possess a current, valid driver’s license
- Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by end of GM development plan if not already possessed
