Job Summary
Oversee daily execution of service routes, manage route logistics, and coach route performance through daily check-ins. Hire, train, and develop service personnel while promoting a culture aligned with company goals, safety, and empowerment. Maintain recurring revenue streams by executing business plans for renewals and expanding accounts, ensuring quarterly customer contacts and audits are completed. Manage daily account functions including audits, scrub counts, and reconciliations, while overseeing invoice accuracy and reporting. Schedule and manage routine maintenance on company trucks to ensure operational readiness. This role requires a valid Driver's License and DOT medical certification, with occasional coverage of delivery routes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent managerial experience
- 4+ years of route management experience
- Clean driving record and strong ethical standards
- Must possess a valid Driver's License at the time of hire
- Must possess a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze sales opportunities and assess customer needs
- Experience developing route structures for new and expanding accounts
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities
- Proficiency in interpreting reports and performance metrics
- High energy with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to manage a route environment and train new hires
- Capable of lifting at least 25 lbs and handling moderate traffic scenarios
- Strong time management and a results-oriented service mentality
