Job Summary
District Sales Manager to lead business development in Virginia/North Carolina territory. Own your territory by hunting new business, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining 6-10 points of contact per account. Drive the sales process from lead to revenue, collaborate on design projects and technical solutions, leverage CRM for pipeline management, convert leads from trade shows and digital channels, and build strategic partnerships with manufacturer reps. Travel within territory (minimum 70%) and attend local/regional shows to maintain market presence. Requires strong technical and sales skills, CRM proficiency, negotiation and forecasting abilities, and the ability to develop value propositions by customer type and market segment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred and 2-3 years in distribution/direct selling. equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in the distribution industry and/or direct selling
- Travel required within assigned territory (minimum 70%, some overnight)
