Job Summary
District Sales Manager – South Central responsible for delivering district-level orders, revenue and margin for SCIEX instrument solutions; translate regional strategy into disciplined execution, manage district forecasting rigor, develop and coach staff, and build senior-level customer relationships and KOL engagement across the West region. Role requires remote work arrangement with travel across multiple states (TX, NM, CO, AZ, MT) to support the South-Central region, leveraging DBS methodologies and performance metrics to drive growth. Requires Bachelor’s in life sciences or equivalent sales experience with high-complexity capital equipment, a history of meeting/exceeding commercial targets, 5+ years of sales leadership, and the ability to operate in a remote, geographically dispersed organization. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically are required. This position is eligible for remote work and offers a comprehensive benefits package including bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales, including high‐complexity capital equipment within life sciences
- Demonstrated experience achieving or exceeding commercial targets in the life science capital equipment market
- 5+ yrs experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment
- Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level
- Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies
- Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization
- Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements: Ability to travel extensively within the S Central region, including overnight travel; Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
