Job Summary
Increase sales revenues and margins within the Prairie region by calling on new and existing customers, developing strategic sales plans, and pursuing opportunities in current and new product lines. Prepare quotes, proposals, and industry presentations to customers at all levels, while effectively communicating order details to Customer Service Representatives. Utilize the company CRM to track account calls, prospects, and objectives, and report weekly on sales activities, operations, and forecasting information. Plan sales trips to maximize territory coverage and maintain travel expenses within budget, ensuring timely submission of expense reports. This safety-sensitive position requires overnight travel up to 75% and physical strength for lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of two-years' experience as an outside sales representative selling business to business
- Overnight travel
- Flexibility to cover a territory with overnight requirements
