Job Summary
Lead sales and marketing efforts for Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest, including quoting and securing business, providing forecasts, and recommending new business and customers. Build relationships with customers, prospect for new business, and collaborate with Inside Sales and Estimating to complete tasks. Serve as a liaison between customers and Nucor Rebar Fabrication operations; establish annual sales plans in the assigned region; drive proactive problem solving to achieve revenue, shipment, and profitability goals. Extensive travel and face-to-face interactions with customers are required. Uphold safety policies and maintain high standards of housekeeping. Knowledge of basic contracts and business practices is a plus; must promote change and continuously improve workplace processes.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Sales or Marketing experience in the steel industry.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Willingness to proactively pursue sales leads and opportunities.
