Job Summary
District Sales Manager for Lawn & Garden in the Birmingham, AL area, responsible for growing the Kawasaki dealer network across portions of AL, MS, and FL; achieve sales goals; coordinate dealer applications and communications; plan and execute organized territory travel; Wholesale Kawasaki products to dealers and support merchandising; maintain cross-department communications; educate dealers on Kawasaki programs; manage dealer data, reports, and market intelligence; and leverage CRM systems while using MS Office to support sales activities and updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of direct sales experience required
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Prior experience selling consumer products is strongly desired
- Experience in the lawn & garden industry will receive special consideration
