Job Summary
Manage Middle East hotel sales activities by prospecting high-net-worth accounts, negotiating room rates, and securing business to meet revenue goals. Develop strategic prospecting plans, coordinate with global sales directors, and handle inquiries while maintaining client files and producing monthly sales reports. Conduct site inspections, entertain clients, and represent the hotel at trade shows and conventions to generate new business and ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate services and follow up with clients post-departure to drive repeat bookings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
- 3 years total experience working with a large or a variety of market segments including Middle East market experience at a luxury hotel or resort
- equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting
- Must speak fluent English
- Frequently standing up or moving within and outside of the facility
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Handling objects
- Communication skills
- Reading and writing abilities
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
- Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade-shows, conventions, etc.
- valid Driver's License
