Job Summary
District Sales Manager (French) responsible for driving new business across Kingston–Ottawa–Quebec–Atlantic Canada, expanding market presence in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, managing and growing relationships with steel fabricators, contractors, engineers, and distributors, leading a team of 2 estimators, handling bids/RFQs/RFPs, developing pricing strategies, and visiting customers regionally. Requires bilingual (French) communication, hunter sales mindset, experience in steel/construction materials or related industries, capability to manage project-based opportunities, and leadership or mentoring experience is a plus. Travel 1–2 days per week and participation in annual events (e.g., U.S. Sales Conference) are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Sales experience in steel, construction materials, fabrication, or related industry
- Strong hunter mentality with proven business development success
- Experience with bids, tenders, RFQs, or project-based sales
- Relationship-focused approach
- Travel willingness (regional travel 1–2 days per week)
