Job Summary
District Sales Manager responsible for maximizing Subaru West Virginia market performance by collaborating with retailers and dealership leadership to drive vehicle sales, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen retailer profitability. Key duties include advising on profitability, leading lead-management and web-optimization efforts, installing and orienting new retailers, ensuring compliance with Retailer Agreements and minimum standards, training sales consultants, producing 10-day sales estimates and weekend business data, and coordinating grass-roots events and retailer education. Strong emphasis on leadership, communication, and relationship-building with dealers, plus travel up to 70% within the market. Requires a BA/BS and 6-8 years’ experience, valid driver’s license, ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Subaru applications SBI/iEXAM.
Required Qualifications
- 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 6-8 years' experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that satisfies the requirements of SOA Driving Record Evaluation Criteria Policy
- Must be approved as an “Authorized Driver” by Risk Management to operate vehicles prior to vehicle operation
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Subaru applications: SBI and iEXAM
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience in retail sales preferred
