Job Summary
District Sales Manager responsible for Western Oregon & Western Washington territory, selling metal roofing and wall panel systems to residential, agricultural, and commercial markets. Key duties include growing a $3M territory, developing partnerships with distributors, trim contractors, and lumber yards; balancing current business with new opportunity development; leading customer education and contractor training; collaborating with operations, estimating, and customer support teams; and maintaining high-volume customer interactions in a fast-paced environment. Requires strong relationship-building, proactive prospecting, travel across the territory (up to ~60%), and a bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 3–5+ years of sales experience in building materials or related industries.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 + years of sales experience preferred
- Experience within building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred
- Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
