Job Summary

District Sales Manager responsible for profitable growth and market development in the California market within the Commercial Roof & Wall segment. Sells to sub-contractors, general contractors, and roofing contractors; develops and implements market plans including customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals. Must possess deep product knowledge across Cornerstone Building Brands’ offerings (including MBCI and Metal Sales brands) and collaborate with internal departments to optimize the customer experience. Requires strong strategic thinking in marketing, finance, and operations, plus the ability to travel 50–60% for client engagements and project coordination. Full-time role with base salary in the mid-$80ks plus bonus and full benefits; emphasis on independent work and team collaboration to achieve annual targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experience
  • Experience in commercial construction and/or building materials
  • Pre-engineered metal buildings experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% - 60% of the time (2-3 overnights a week)
  • Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
