Job Summary
District Sales Manager responsible for delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen medicines to medical professionals within a defined Pennsylvania district, leading and developing district teams, recruiting and hiring, coaching and conducting performance reviews, and coordinating cross-functional efforts (Marketing, Finance, other Business Units) to meet sales and budget targets. Develop local Opinion Leader relationships, track marketing programs, allocate resources, ensure compliance, and coach teams to drive territory growth in bone health products across Philadelphia, West Chester, Allentown, Harrisburg, PA, Wilmington and Salisbury, MD. Strong emphasis on recruiting, leadership, strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve objectives in biologics and specialty sales with buy-and-bill models and clinical concepts; remote/hybrid-friendly role with potential flexible work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Master’s degree and 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- AND 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
