Job Summary
District Representative II Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a sales-focused professional responsible for revenue and profit growth of Nalco Water programs in targeted Oil & Gas accounts within the assigned territory. The role requires a consultative sales approach with emphasis on account leadership and retention, building long-term relationships with a large customer base, understanding business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies. Responsibilities include working with current and new customers to understand needs, developing and executing sales plans to meet territory profit goals, providing technical support, resolving customer issues, analyzing systems, and traveling within the sales territory as needed. The position offers a flexible, independent work environment, access to resources and tools, and opportunities to grow income, with a focus on safety training and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
- 3+ years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business preferred
- Experience in CPI and Ethylene cracker preferred
- High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn internal business systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Account Management experience including calling on multilevel plant or facilities management
- Ability to travel within territory
- Willingness to lift up to 55 pounds
