Job Summary
District Production Manager responsible for supervising sanitation, monitoring packaging and displays to ensure the highest quality bakery café products; lead and mentor staff, recruit and hire for production roles, plan and direct production staffing and scheduling, train employees on quality and sanitation standards, and ensure compliance with health inspections. Will oversee purchasing planning, process improvements, and cost reporting; evaluate sanitary levels and product quality across stores/factories; enforce GMP/HACCP/ISO 9000 and food safety practices, provide actionable feedback, support new product launches, and deliver periodic reports to production leadership. Travel to current corporate and franchise locations as needed while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture and acting as a Brand Ambassador for Paris Baguette.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background as a Confectionery/Foods major (over 6 months courses in Culinary School)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant bakery/café experience
- Knowledge of food producing processes, sanitation, and quality programs (GMP, HACCP, ISO 9000)
- Food manufacturing practices and food safety procedures
- Strong skills in root cause analysis, problem solving, and project management
