District Pharmacy Coordinator

Job Summary

Set and maintain pharmacist schedules for district stores, including template creation, DSP scheduling, and contingency planning for vacation and sick call coverage. Track pharmacist payroll weekly by entering time off, shift requirements, and reviewing submissions for quality assurance before execution. Seasonally manage immunization clinic scheduling by inputting requests three weeks in advance and adjusting store schedules to prevent client escalations. Support the Pharmacy District Leader by executing base changes, monitoring vacation requests, and escalating operational issues such as TempAlert excursions and audit remediations. This non-exempt 30-hour role allows optional additional hours as a pharmacy technician.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
  • 1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification (unless otherwise required by the Board of Pharmacy, must be obtained no later than 90 days in role)
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Flexible work schedule capability to accommodate business needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assignment deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to enter data using a keyboard
  • Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
  • Ability to reach overhead; stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items and as needed to distribute totes or place merchandise on shelves
  • Ability to move fingers repetitively; picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
  • Ability to control precision; quickly adjust machines to exact positions
  • Ability to stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist
  • Ability to close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer/POS terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately
  • Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
  • Ability to occasionally lift of up to 20 – 40lbs. or force and/or exert up to 20 lbs. of force
  • Ability to frequently lift of up to 10 lbs. and/or exert up to 10 lbs. of force
  • Ability to consistently lift and/or exert a negligible amount of force to move objects

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates degree
  • Pharmacy Lead Technician experience
  • Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems
