Job Summary
Remote tele-therapy licensed mental health therapist in DC on a 1099 contract; part-time (minimum 10 sessions/week) with flexible scheduling; provide high-quality care to Headspace patients via HIPAA-compliant video platform within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include delivering psychotherapy, completing and locking clinical notes within 48 hours, maintaining licensure and professional documentation, and managing an availability calendar. Requires an independent US license at Master or Doctoral level, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to provide 60-minute intake and 45-minute follow-up sessions; session pay ranges $80-$85 per teletherapy session, with reimbursement determined during interview, and all work confined to the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Independent clinical license to practice in good standing in the United States
- Master's or Doctoral level degree in psychology/mental health field
- 3+ years experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families
- BC-TMH credential, if required by state
- Ability to offer at least 10 sessions per week
- HIPAA-compliant teletherapy delivery experience
- Familiarity with EMR and clinical documentation within 48 hours
- Willingness to work as a DC-remote contractor under 1099
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness) and risk management
- Familiarity with culturally responsive care and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Preference for licensure in multiple states and PSYPACT (optional)
- Multilingual abilities (preferred)
- Evening availability (preferred)
