Job Summary
Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to reach sales targets across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Create, implement, and monitor the District Sales Plan while maximizing market dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results. Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and elevate overall performance. Present market and franchise business points of view during in-field meetings by mastering product, disease state, and Managed Care landscape information. Provide direction to internal partners in business planning and ensure all HCIR credentialing requirements are satisfied. Maintain good standing with safety and compliance standards while driving a culture of winning and full team engagement. This field-based role requires a valid driver's license and experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience
- Minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience
- In good standing with safety and compliance standards
- Is currently meeting performance expectations
- Is living the AbbVie Way and effectively demonstrating the Leadership Attributes
- Excellent judgment and decision making skills
- Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance
- Ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities
- Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement
- Satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory
- Be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials
