Job Summary
Develop and implement plans to achieve sales goals and optimize portfolio NOI while enabling strong operational performance across assigned stores. Inspire and lead the team by managing hiring, termination, discipline, and development, while monitoring sales, cost management, employee management, and safety. Identify opportunities to improve business performance and enforce all company policies, procedures, and code of ethics. Manage escalations and approvals timely, prioritizing multiple projects under pressure with minimal supervision. Lead 20-35+ employees across multiple locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, including weekends and travel as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within the district and to other designated locations
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to perform some of the physical requirements of the job (ability to lift 50lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience from the Storage industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Demonstrated experience in building 'ownership' and accountability in a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions
- Work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and lead 20-35+ employees
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft suite of products
