Job Summary
Develop and implement plans to achieve sales goals and optimize portfolio NOI. Enable strong operational performance across the assigned district businesses by monitoring sales, cost management, employee management, and safety. Inspire and lead the team through hiring, development, and discipline while managing escalations and approvals. Identify opportunities to improve business performance and enforce all company policies and codes of ethics. Lead 20-35+ employees with minimal supervision, requiring the ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and travel within the district to designated locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within the district and to other designated locations as directed by the company
- Ability to perform some of the physical requirements of the job (ability to lift 50lbs)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience from the Storage industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Demonstrated experience in building 'ownership' and accountability in a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead 20-35+ employees
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft suite of products
