Job Summary
Coordinate in-field sales activity within an assigned geography to achieve district targets by developing and executing the District Sales Plan. Lead and develop direct and indirect team members, coach for performance, and provide insights to internal partners in business planning. Communicate market and disease-state information, drive product knowledge across immunology, oncology, and neuroscience areas, and ensure compliance with HCIR credentialing requirements for facilities in the territory. Demonstrate AbbVie Ways of Working, manage relationships across teams, and effectively drive top- and bottom-line results while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least four years of pharmaceutical sales management experience; a valid driver's license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
- Minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience (external management experience can be considered).
- Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and talent development abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include background checks, immunization, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses.
