Job Summary
District Manager, Pain - Houston at Viatris leads district sales in Texas and Louisiana, drives achievement of annual sales and market-share objectives, and ensures execution of corporate sales and marketing direction within the geographic area. Responsibilities include implementing the district sales strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key executives and decision makers, conducting account reviews, monitoring product usage, providing timely feedback to district sales representatives, identifying performance gaps and coaching/ addressing them, recruiting and retaining top talent, coaching direct reports for high performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, communicating with the Sales Director and home office, and fostering a high-performing, accountable district team focused on long-term and immediate results. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience, strong leadership and management skills, travel willingness (60-70%), residency in the district geography, a valid driver’s license, and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience required
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills required
- Prior successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales management District Manager experience, medical devices, or other healthcare products sales experience preferred
- Ability to travel 60-70% (will include overnight travel)
- Must reside in district geography
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required
